State Police Must Have an Old Book (20thsenatorial Exclusive)
State Police rely on a law that was repealed in 1945
State Police legal expert, pictured to the left, has apparently given the State Police some bad advice. The law upon which the local PSP relied (36 P.S. Section 2564) to steal political signs was repealed in 1945 in so far as it applies to "state highways." See act 1945, June 1, P.L. 1242, art. XI, Section 1101. OOPS. Maybe next time, they should hire a lawyer who actually is a lawyer and not just some guy who plays one on TV.
