Did Baker Build the Tunkhannock Viaduct?

Sources Say "No"

We have received some inquiries about whether or not Lisa Baker built the Tunkhannock Viaduct in Nicholson. We sent Buzz on the road to investigate. Buzz spoke with the former Mayor of Nicholson, "Diamond" Joe Quimby. Quimby said, "The viaduct was built in 1915, so Lisa did not built it. She didn't build a lot of things she takes credit for. So I guess you could say she built the viaduct, too."

Glad we could clear that up for you. Buzz will be looking into, Baker's involvement with the Panama Canal, the Empire State Building, and the Pyramids of Giza.

Comments:
I still think that the name of the Wachovia Arena should be changed to "Lisa Baker Arena"

I heard she is also responsible for bringing the the Superwalmart to Tunkhannock. I overheard her saying it would bring at least 150 more highpaying jobs.

Just another reason for the Times Leader to endorse Baker. Let's review: Baker good, Haggerty bad.

Baker is good...for playing the puppet for all that is wrong with the republican party. At least Haggerty won't look like a fool if he doesn't win. I mean, where does Baker go when she loses? Maybe they can use her office as a tea room and she can be the hostess, all on the taxpayers dime of course.

If you vote for Baker because of the promise of highpaying jobs I hope you enjoy watching the rich and politically connected get richer. The only thing the rest of us will get is more taxes to fund their elitest group.

Quimby has it right. Baker's slogan should be. "Lisa doesn't build the things she takes credit for, she just takes credit for the things other people build."

Senator Lisa Baker built the viaduct. I saw her do it.
